RIVCHPP Marks 2nd Anniversary

The Rivers State Contributory Health Protection Programme (RIVCHPP) celebrated its second anniversary, marking two years of dedicated service in providing health insurance coverage to Rivers State residents.

The anniversary celebration brought together stakeholders from across the healthcare sector, including government officials, healthcare providers, development partners, and programme beneficiaries.

Over the past two years, RIVCHPP has achieved significant milestones including the enrollment of thousands of beneficiaries, the accreditation of numerous healthcare facilities across the state, and the successful processing of healthcare claims.

The Executive Secretary, Dr. Vetty Agala, reflected on the programme's journey, acknowledging both the achievements and challenges faced along the way. She reaffirmed RIVCHPP's commitment to expanding coverage and improving service delivery.

Governor Siminalayi Fubara's administration was praised for its continued support of the programme, which has been instrumental in ensuring that healthcare remains accessible and affordable for all residents of Rivers State.

The anniversary also served as a platform to unveil new initiatives and plans for the coming year, including expanded coverage areas, new health plans, and enhanced digital services for enrollees.
